How alternatives compare to this PC
MSI Codex Z2 RTX 5070 Gaming Desktop
The MSI Codex Z2 shares the same RTX 5070 GPU and 32GB of RAM, but swaps the Ryzen 7 9700X for a different Ryzen 7 variant. It retains the 2TB SSD storage capacity, matching the original's ample space. The main difference is physical size. This unit is significantly lighter at 21.3 pounds and has a compact chassis. You give up the included RGB keyboard and mouse bundle found with the HP. This choice suits users who want a smaller footprint for 1440p gaming without sacrificing storage speed or memory capacity.
KOTIN RTX 5070 Ryzen 7 9700X Gaming PC
The KOTIN model uses the identical Ryzen 7 9700X CPU and RTX 5070 GPU, paired with 32GB of RAM. However, it reduces storage to a 1TB SSD, which is half the capacity of the original. You trade double the storage for hardware-level visibility into your PC's health. This option is ideal for users who prefer seeing system stats directly on the case rather than relying on software overlays.
ASUS ROG G700 RTX 5070 Gaming Desktop
The ASUS ROG G700 switches the processor to a Core Ultra 7 while keeping the RTX 5070 GPU and 32GB of RAM. It also reduces storage to a 1TB SSD, offering less space than the original's 2TB drive. The trade-off is the smaller storage drive and a different CPU architecture. This pick works best for users who value brand identity and upgradeability over maximum storage capacity.
Alienware Aurora RTX 5070 Gaming PC
The Alienware Aurora features a Core Ultra 7 processor and the RTX 5070 GPU with 32GB of RAM. It includes a 1TB SSD, which is half the storage of the original. This model supports Wi-Fi 7, offering faster wireless connectivity than the original's Wi-Fi 6E. It runs Windows 11 Pro, matching the original's professional OS. The chassis is lighter at 33.9 pounds. You sacrifice storage space for modern connectivity and a different CPU platform. The Skytech Blaze 5 upgrades the CPU to a Ryzen 7 9800X3D, providing stronger gaming performance than the original's 9700X. It keeps the RTX 5070 GPU and 32GB of RAM. Storage matches the original with a 2TB SSD. This model uses efficient liquid cooling for better thermal management. The chassis is larger and heavier, weighing 30 pounds. You gain top-tier CPU power for high-refresh 1440p gaming. The trade-off is the bulkier form factor. This option is best for players who need maximum processing power for competitive gaming and do not mind a heavier system.
Skytech Harpy RTX 5070 Gaming PC
The Skytech Harpy uses the Ryzen 7 9700X CPU and RTX 5070 GPU with 32GB of RAM, matching the original's core components. However, it reduces storage to a 1TB SSD. It features efficient liquid cooling for better thermal control. The chassis is lighter at 30 pounds. You give up half the storage capacity for improved cooling efficiency and a smaller footprint.
